Privacy & cookie policy
Reading SharpXI needs nothing from you. If you join the newsletter, subscribe or send feedback, we hold the few details that takes. This page lists every one: what it is for, who else handles it and how long we keep it.
Who we are
SharpXI is run by Adam Sharp, who decides how the details below are used. Email adam@sharpxi.com about anything on this page.

Card details go straight to the payment provider and never reach us. We don't sell anyone's data, and nothing is shared with bookmakers. As the affiliate disclosure says, SharpXI has no bookmaker relationships, so there is no one to share it with and no reason to.
About footballers
Our pages analyse named professional players using public match statistics, and team news (including injuries and suspensions) that players and clubs have made public. We use only what is already public, for football analysis, and a player can ask us about it like anyone else.
Who else handles it
A few trusted services help us run the site: a payment provider, an email service and our hosting provider, plus analytics and advertising partners only if you accept cookies. They handle data only to provide their service to us, and some may do so outside the UK. Backups are deleted after 90 days.
Cookies and your choice
Until you click Accept on the cookie banner, no analytics or advertising script loads and no such cookie is set. Click Decline and it never loads. Your choice is stored in your browser, not sent to us, and you can change it at any time:
If you accept, analytics reports anonymous and aggregate only: which pages are visited, roughly where from (country or region), and device and browser type. We use it to see which pages are useful.
We advertise SharpXI on X. If you accept, X's advertising tag loads and tells us whether people who saw an advert went on to use the site, and lets X build an audience of past visitors for us to advertise to. Decline and it never loads.
The slip you build on the screener and player-stats pages is kept in your browser. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email adam@sharpxi.com and we will answer within a month. If you are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
